How we read other people’s pages
Where a program’s page refuses automated reading, we do not work around it. Someone opens it by hand, or telephones the program and asks. A figure we cannot obtain honestly is published as a named gap instead.
DSIRE (dsireusa.org), maintained by the N.C. Clean Energy Technology Center, is used only as an index of which programs exist — never as the source of a figure we serve. Its content is licensed CC BY-SA 4.0, and we attribute it here for that reason. NREL’s deprecated incentives API carries stale DSIRE data and is never queried.
